We all know the diamond pattern gives great stability and this helps when line bites are a problem The highly visible hollow tips further aid buoyancy and bite detection as well as allowing you to dot it down if that is your preferred presentation. Works fantastically in windy, choppy conditions riding waves with ease.
The addition of a side eye to the peak of the diamond body helps to significantly reduce line cut whuch improves the longevity of this pattern. The side eye is highly unlikely to ever be pulled out as the angle from the pole rubber and the spring eye creates inbound rather than outbound pressure.
The 1mm glass stem is glued through the whole body and into the hollow tip making this pattern very strong.
