Great addition to my float range and inspired by the designers concept so bear his name.
This is a paste float combining the slim body of its popular sister the "S-Paste"
and the introduction of the surface skim beating split tip design.
The 1mm white glass stem is glued all the way through the body and into a small piece of 1.7mm hollow float tip. By using the stem as part of a longer tip it not only increases strength but the surface area of tip being affected is significantly reduced allowing the float to "cut" through the surface skim and greatly improve stability. This also allows me to reduce the size of spring eye applied, again reducing weight and surface area. Total tiplength approx 55mm
Just like all the floats in my paste range the longer stem whilst not only aiding stability also carries some of the float loading allowing you to use less shot and/or use the bait to fully "trim" the float. The float can then rise up in the water when the paste has gone.
As the name suggests this is designed as an out and out paste float but is not out of place fishing traditional baits like meat & pellet when windy days might demand extra stability.
